St Ali, South Melbourne

Seriously, this place was awesome. It is in the running with Montague Park Food Store, and Replete Providore for my favourite breakfast place. Reasonable place, very earthy and relaxing decor, great coffee and excellent food. Also hidden down a badly signed side street to make you feel really trendy when you find it. Very Melbourne.

I had french toast with banana, maple syrup and vanilla bean marscapone, Luce (my partner in the quest to find the best brekkie) had claypot baked eggs with Chorizo and toasted turkish bread.
