Music
At the moment I'm feeling like I've bitten off a little more than I can chew....although I've always had a big mouth and fingers crossed am coping. I'm trying to get an incredible amount of study done sandwiched between the weekend I recently spent in Adelaide, and this weekend when I am going to SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS. There's nothing like a deadline that is a Music Festival (with some kicking kicking bands) to get you motivated to study! And my handy little Corolla has been saving me a little bit of time here and there, so everything is working together.
Exciting events of the week
- I finally discovered Bloc Party....a bit late I know, but in time to make sure I don't miss them at Splendour. I really just bought the Splendour tickets with the attitude- I want to see Powderfinger and The Kaiser Chiefs, and I'm sure the other bands will be awesome. However having recently jumped on The Arctic Monkeys and Bloc Party bandwagons, along with a heap of other bands I am so excited.
- I've been getting back into Triple J. I've loved it for a long time, but haven't really listened to it. But now its in my car, and I've plugged in my clock radio again to listen in the morning, and while I study...makes me happy to get back into new music. Also discovered the Triple J Unearthed page- unsigned Aussie acts...have found so much great stuff there.
- Christened my new Jamie Oliver Tefal Shark-Ridge (Steak Pan) with a juicy juicy kangaroo steak. Worth EVERY dollar. Tried some middle-grade beek steak on it tonight- even better...I think I sense some gradual purchasing of superior quality kitchen implements coming on.
- Crazy at work. Reviews maybe this week.

Renee,
You've caught my attention (or sucked me in) and I will be helping Jamie Oliver to live in the manner he is accustomed. I have a favorite site "Home Couture", where I have purchased numerous cooking, etc items. So my order is placed with them.
