I just have to put a big thankyou out there to everyone who sent me birthday wishes on Wednesday- It was so appreciated. Most of my friends are now at least 500kms away from me, and I have been really lucky to see nearly everyone at least once this year. I had a great day, made even better by the constant chirping of SMS coming in, I felt spoiled! That was my last day before I mentally started my exam campaign, so see you all after the 12th of December. Audit audit audit. I'l have 10 days to chill in Melbourne, before heading 'home' to Adelaide for Christmas. Out first full family Christmas in Australia for a few years will be fantastic!

What a great night. Last night was my brother's 18th birthday party, pulled forward a weekend so that I could come- thanks John?

Hayley headed on over a bit early so that we could spa it up and do some quality control on the sangria that I mixed up, which was absolutely awesome, and goes down way too easily. Who would think that nasty red wine from a box could taste so good. All 10 litres got drunk, and that wasn't all Hayley, Mum and me!

John, not to be outdone at his own party got his girlfriend to paint him up as THE HULK, and he looked pretty awesome. Happy Birthday John!

The other big success of the night was Dad's woodfired pizza oven. Dad has been working on this huge outdoor over for a while now, and this was sort of the test run. We got a heap of dough and yummy sauce from the pizzeria that John works at, and I worked some pizza magic with Mum to feed to masses (and me of course). It was fastastic pizza, even if I do so say myself, and as the night cooled down the over is better than a 44 gallon drum.

A good night in, could only be made better by a Sunday morning full fry up. Yum.
