Rome

Maree and I spent the two and a half days in Rome, some of the highlights can be seen in picture form below. However something we couldn't take photos of was the Vatican Museum, of which the infamous Sistine Chapel in part. Now I was under the impression that if you decided to walk straight in and head for the Chapel you could get there quite quickly...It took us about an hour of walking through gallery after gallery to get there, and what a trip. The time we spent in the Museum was just overload...amazing artwork after another after another...there is so much in this massive collection of buildings and I am sure we hardly scratched the surface. Everything was amazing.

What else to say about Rome? Well out of the three cities visited this was our least favourite, although it was still amazing. Seeing buildings like the Colloseum, Panthenon and the buildings belonging to the Vatican is just surreal
